This position is responsible for overall performance of the Direct-to-Consumer distribution center in Rural Hall, NC. The Senior Manager plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls all distribution and office/support center activities. Proven experience in building and developing a high performing team is critical because selection, development and motivation of all facility employees are key responsibilities. Accountable for achieving facility objectives with regard to safety, service, quality and cost while managing the complexity and generating the sense of urgency necessary in an ecommerce environment.
This role will use an analytical approach to review and report all data and information in support of all established KPIs and programs for the Direct-to-Consumer operation. Proven experience in activity based budgeting and good understanding of the connection between performance and cost are key in this position. The Sr. Manager will also help define strategies for new methods and processes within the ecommerce operation as well as implementing and sustaining best practices in production and related material handling equipment.
