  • Overview

    This role is a key position within the Retail Sports Apparel team.  The primary focus is to manage analytic, tactical and operational aspects of sales Hanesbrands Licensed Sports Apparel business while also be responsible for  tracking detail involved customer set-up, order processing, sales reporting and issue resolution.

     

     This role is responsible for providing support to the Sr Account Manager and HBI cross-functional team supporting the business, with a focus to drive topline sales and profitability for the HBI financial forecasts and plans within area of responsibility.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a project manager between the customer and the HBI internal team – customer operations, customer service, marketing and merchandising and other cross functional areas on program execution. 
    • Strong analysis skills (including sales, inventory levels, and other key financial metrics) to assist management in identifying business building opportunities, sales trends and opportunities, etc.
    • Responsible for tracking all detail and managing calendars for the embellishment of graphic tees from the conception of the design until goods are handed off for production.
    • Participate in customer weekly state of the business calls with account and core team members to review the tactical needs of the business.
    • Collaborate with, planning, HBI screenprint production facilities, and Disney product development to insure print production meets all deadlines and quality standards
    • Evaluate print samples and recommend visual enhancements with color and techniques

    Qualifications

     

    Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Previous retailer headquarters or licensed sports apparel supplier experience a plus
    • Expert knowledge in Microsoft office—especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint
    • Must have strong communication, (written and oral) ; this position will demand strong cross functional relationships
    • Team and partnership mentality
    • Takes initiative and strong sense of urgency. Deadline adherence a must
    • Proven problem solving skills
    • Demonstrate effectiveness in management of multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong PC skills
    • Strong dedication to team
    • Ability to work both independently and also with a group
    • Travel required
