  • Overview

    Contributes to the implementation and continuous improvement of GTS processes to support Shared Services Organization functions in a highly complex global environment.  Participates in the business process design and delivery of solutions that support the vision and strategy of the GTS and the company’s strategic business plans. Analyzes business process trends, assesses the impact of emerging processes and technology enablers on current processes and proposes solutions that drive performance of GTS teams.  Manages line level resources and other third party relationships while ensuring the delivery of high-quality processes for GTS internal and external customers.

     

    Fosters an environment of collaboration in pursuit of common GTS and business goals.  Inspires, motivates and guides others.  Develops leadership skills in others by coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing and reinforcing. Encourages and facilitates cooperation within the organization and with global customer groups; fosters commitment, team spirit, pride and trust. Expresses technical and business concepts, ideas, opinions and conclusions so that others understand or are persuaded to act.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for assessing business needs and participating in the collection, analysis and documentation of requirements.  Coordination and continuous improvement of current business processes within the assigned functional area of the GTS organization.  Responsible for the implementation and centralization of standard accounts payable processes.  Act as a central resource for internal and external GTS customers.

     

    Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:

    • Participate in short and long-term planning sessions with the GTS senior management to implement process improvements in the assigned functional area.
    • Collaborate with business partners and GTS senior management in order to provide business solutions to meet user needs.
    • Promotes an understanding of GTS roles, processes and activities to the business partners.
    • Manages the development and implementation of integrated initiatives to support the business and GTS strategy.
    • Interfacing with internal and external GTS customers to deliver a high standard of customer service.
    • Manages staff directly responsible for transaction processing.
    • Develops and manages key performance indicators that drive continuous improvement and staff performance.
    • Manages third party relationships to maximize value to the business.
    • Contributes to subject matter expertise and influence to the development of standards and changes to systems/applications/processes to support those standards.
    • Supports internal and external audit needs.
    • Manages the development and delivery of training for internal and external users to ensure productive use of existing and new systems.
    • Ensures adherence to applications security procedures, change control guidelines and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
    • Other tasks as assigned by GTS Management.

    Qualifications

     

    Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

     

    Professional Education: Bachelors Degree required; MBA preferred

     

    Professional Experience Preferred:

    • 3 years relevant experience
    • Staff management experience including both non-exempt and exempt level employees
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing large, cross-functional teams and influencing management and key stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to implement one or more business project(s) on time and within budget
    • Demonstrated experience with Global Business Processes
    • Shared Services experience in a managerial role
