This position is responsible for management of the growth and profitability for the HBI Urban Outfitters global business as part of this over-all team. Position is accountable for managing a range of business elements that will vary over time, however will include a need for internal functional expertise including but not limited to sales, marketing, finance and operations. We are looking for an individual who is driven by results and determined to succeed even under pressure. Based in Winston-Salem, you’ll contribute to the development of the sales strategy and maximize profitability for the company and the account. Position is specifically responsible for managing reporting, analytic, tactical and operational aspects of sales for Urban Outfitters global business. Accordingly, this position will require a thorough understanding of the customer from strategy to tactics. The ability to understand them will have a direct impact on profitable sales growth.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Athletic product and/or consumer products large account sales or senior retail divisional management experience strongly preferred
Minimum 3-5 years sales, retail buying, or marketing experience in the athletic or fashion apparel industry and/or CPG experience.
Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills required.
Demonstrated track record of successfully working with major accounts toward increasing revenue, creating and driving a holistic business plan inclusive of short and long term business strategies and financial targets.
Ability to influence both cross-functionally and vertically within industry and marketplace
Strong communication skills (oral and written), including excellent presentation skills.
Financial Acumen; must fully understand retail scorecard drivers, and be able to manage detailed analytics
Possess strong tactical skills; able to manage detailed execution plans, both internally and externally
Proven ability to build strong business relationships.
Proven ability as a “thinker”, a “strategist” and a “problem solver”
