  • Overview

    The Manager, Global LMS and Digital Learning is responsible for HbI’s global learning management system (LMS) and is accountable for processes to analyze, design, develop, implement, track, and evaluate eLearning and digital training programs and content that drive organizational and individual performance.  The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring program and system effectiveness, and operates as a strategic business partner to functional leaders across the organization.

    Responsibilities

    Manage the design and implementation of global eLearning/digital learning and development strategies and curriculum: 55%

    • Manage and provide leadership and oversight for HbI’s eLearning and digital training solutions to build and continuously improve on a learning culture that elevates employee and organizational performance.
    • Apply adult learning theories and instructional design methodology to design, develop, and deploy eLearning experiences that: 1) effectively align with learning objectives; and 2) ensure high quality learning experiences for participants.
    • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and subject matter experts on the analysis, design, and content development of a variety of learning programs.
    • Engage instructional design processes and implement best practices to ensure the quality and consistency of multi-modality educational materials for participants.
    • Collaborate closely with global functional leaders to identify needs and conceptualize educational modules and content in order to design, create, deliver, and/or recommend interactive learning solutions that target learning objectives and improve performance.
    • Support global organizational development and talent management strategies and processes (i.e.AMP and Global Talent Review), designed to meet individual contributor, key talent, and leadership developmental needs.
    • Function as a staff resource and consultant in support of developing HbI’s talent.
    • Partner with internal team members and external vendors as needed in the design and delivery of eLearning and digital training programs.
    • Partner with newly acquired company human resource team members to understand current training capacity, identify gaps, and incorporate into HbI global learning systems.
    • Facilitate virtual and instructor-led training programs as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

     

    Manage and maintain configuration and content of LMS and other learning systems: 35%

    • Manage customizations of the LMS
      • Manage GL & D/HbI University areas within the LMS including functionality, appearance, tabs, and settings.
    • Partner with HRIM team on user data and data feeds
    • Train international administrators and end users on how to use technology for online and professional development
    • Responsible for learning content curation
    • Accountable for providing troubleshooting assistance for users, and resolving issues related to system functionality
    • Responsible for researching & negotiating LMS contract for sr. level approval
    • Set up and administer surveys within LMS or other tools (i.e. Survey Monkey)

     

    Program/Systems Evaluation: 5%

    • Responsible for researching and implementing data measurement techniques to ensure the success of eLearning and digital programs
      • Conduct follow-up research of completed training to evaluate and measure effectiveness and results
      • Evaluate participant satisfaction with methods of delivery
      • Consult with regional training/OD, HR leaders, and global business unit and functional leaders for feedback on eLearning and digital training effectiveness

    Qualifications

     

    Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

     

    • Education/Degrees:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field                     
    • Special Skills: Curriculum planning, course development and delivery of training for adult learners, ability to partner effectively with people at multiple levels in a company and across multiple geographies time zones
    • Years of experience: 5+/-
    • Type of experience: 3-5 years of training experience, with 2-3 years’ experience managing an LMS and eLearning content
    • Required travel:  May require minimal global travel (less than 10%)
    • Preferred experience, skills, and education that are not required for job but beneficial to role (i.e. bi-lingual). Proficiency reading and writing Spanish
    • Strong analytical and research skills, excellent communication (listening, written, verbal, and presentation) skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products with expertise in Excel, experience managing learning management systems and interface with HRIM systems, strong organization/time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
