  • Overview

    Responsible for planning, developing, and establishing marketing strategies including the implementation of the automated marketing communication program. Also responsible for directing and coordinating activities concerned with gathering, recording, and analyzing data regarding current and potential customers, competitors, and the market; for the purpose of supporting our strategic plan, launching new products or services, fine tuning existing products, services or promotions, and expanding into new markets.

    Responsibilities

    • Directs, supervises, evaluates, and inspires the team and other direct reports so that the environment, culture, team, capabilities, tools, processes, expectations, and other elements support the strategic goals of GTM Sportswear.
    • Works with the Vice President of Marketing to set strategic targets and goals for the marketing programs.
    • Works with the creative & content team to ensure product and channel messaging is effective and compelling in the various marketing channels.
    • Collaborates with the marketing management team to continually evolve the creative direction, targeting/segmentation, branding, customer acquisition and retention strategies that support the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Strategies.
    • Partners with the Merchandising Team for new production introductions, product information, presentation and overall merchandising of the product in the various marketing channels.
    • Works to improve marketing responses and conversion rates by continually evaluating and adjusting the marketing activation programs.
    • Develops the budget for tea, and monitors expenditures to stay within the budget guidelines.
    • Collaborates with Exec Team, Sales and Supply Chain to develop and execute companywide promotions and executes the logistics and communications for the promotions.
    • Continually reviews processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing department.
    • Manages/trains/mentors marketing team.
    • Works in conjunction with managers within each department to develop research strategies and tactics to supply marketplace based information needs of each department. Leads projects from conception to completion and presents findings and information to appropriate parties.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

    • A minimum of 3 to 5 years in the marketing, market research.
    • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
    • Experience with a wide array of new product, brand and advertising.
    • Strong interpersonal, written, communication, and organizational skills
    • Ability to work with limited supervision highly self-motivated.
    • Experience in market research or other analytical areas is a plus.
