The Training Supervisor will develop, manage and monitor training programs throughout the facility as well Supervise the training personnel and Production tracking coordinator in their daily activities. The incumbent will also manage the Safety Program, GPS program and Lean events.


  • Develops, implements and administers/conducts training programs across all shifts and departments throughout the facility
  • Develops, implements, and manages safety programs across all shifts and departments throughout the facility, providing for the safety and security of employees or property. Facilitates Operational Safety Committee. Monitors the Safety audit program ensuring that any findings are corrected. Interprets company safety policies and enforces safety regulations.
  • Develops new processes and other initiatives throughout the facility
  • Personnel supervised: Team Lead/PIT trainer, Production Tracking Coordinator  
  • Supervisory duties: supervises, sets and adjust work schedules; maintains production records for use in supervision or control; plans, assigns and apportions work for subordinates; directs subordinates’ work; plans work and determines techniques to be used; reviews employee performance (and prepares written performance evaluations); handles employee complaints and grievances; disciplines employees, if needed
  • Manages GPS program
  • Ensures process and document controls throughout the facility
  • Manages all powered industrial training
  • Facilitates Lean events and 5S events; monitors to ensure changes and/ or improvements are sustained
  • Manages and maintains associate training records
  • Studies production/distribution processes and creates training documentation and programs to reinforce and/or enhance these processes
  • Monitors, records, and reports the success of training programs
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems.
  • Maintains time and attendance records for subordinates



Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Associate’s Degree from two-year college or technical school preferred
  • Two to three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have overall appreciation and understanding of the facility to effectively develop and implement training programs and documentation
  • Must have expert technical knowledge of the operation
  • Prior experience in supervisory role in manufacturing/distribution environment helpful
  • Experience with GPS, Lean, and safety programs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must have Excel, Word and Power Point experience
  • Ability to adapt to changing procedures, policies and work environment


  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to multi-task on a daily basis
  • Possess excellent people skills, including people management skills
  • Work with the Engineering to develop programs for the facility
  • Interact effectively with facility leadership
