  • Overview

    The Senior Tax Analyst will report to the Senior Tax Manager and will help manage the global tax provision process.  The position will work with global teammates and management to provide tax support of SEC reporting, forecasts, and planning.  The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines is required.


    The Senior Tax Analyst, primary responsibilities include the following:

    • Assist with the preparation of quarter and year-end effective tax rates.
    • Assist with the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and year-end tax provision schedule and book-to-tax calculations.
    • Prepare the year-end external tax audit workpapers.
    • Work with international teammates on the preparation and coordination of the international provision process.
    • Review monthly tax account analysis
    • Maintain documentation for SOX and internal audit purposes.

    This position will interact with senior management, other functional groups and business units within the company to collect and process accounting and income tax information.


    In this role, the selected individual will also have some responsibility for the following:


    • Team with other critical tax areas, including tax compliance and tax planning for interconnectedness between tax compliance and accounting and to drive efficiencies within the tax department.
    • Work on multiple financial projects concurrently which are time sensitive, so ability to schedule activities and work under pressure is required.



    Minimum Education and Experience Required: 


    • BS/BA in Accounting or Business-related field.
    • MS/MBA preferred.
    • CPA
    • 2+ years of experience in corporate tax, financial reporting and accounting.
    • Strong experience with corporate tax provisions.
    • Strong technical skills and experience of US GAAP and SEC reporting guidance.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and Hyperion desired.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Able to articulate complex technical tax and accounting concepts to colleagues and management.
    • Good conceptual, critical thinking, analytical, quantitative skills and the ability to problem solve.
    • Must be able to work independently.
