  • Overview

    We are seeking to hire an indirect tax analyst who will report to the Sr. Manager of Indirect Tax.  This position is a support role for all aspects of the corporate indirect tax compliance functions, including sales and use tax, value added taxes, property tax, business licenses, census reporting, and unclaimed property.  This position will participate in broader projects as needed in assisting the Sr. Manager, Indirect Tax. 


    • Review locations, research business license requirements and maintain current business licenses for all required locations
    • Review property tax bills and coordinate the filing of renditions and payment of taxes
    • Understand certain foreign VAT filing requirements, retrieve information necessary to file monthly and quarterly returns and coordinate filings and payment of taxes
    • Coordinate information gathering, preparation and filing of required census reporting forms on a quarterly and annual basis
    • Assist with governmental audits as needed
    • Participate in special projects as needed
    • Coordinate information gathering and quarterly unclaimed property compliance
    • Reviewing and responding to correspondence from a variety of state and local jurisdictions; other duties/providing assistance to Sr. Manager as needed


    Minimum Education and Experience Required: 


    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
    • CPA certificate preferred
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in focused on indirect taxes
    • Experience in public accounting is highly preferred
    • Strong PC experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Relevant experience and knowledge of SAP, Vertex and other tax/billing systems is a plus
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and continually changing environment
