  • Overview

    Accounts Receivable Manager for Global Transaction Services

     

    Responsible for assessing business needs and participating in the collection, analysis and documentation of requirements.  Coordination and continuous improvement of current business processes within the assigned functional area of the Global Transaction Services (GTS) organization.  Responsible for the implementation and centralization of standard accounts receivable,  and credit and collections processes.  Act as a central resource for internal and external customers.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Responsibilites:

    • Manage the performance and development of collections staff
    • Implement continuous process improvements for HbI retained activities
    • Perform new and existing customer financial risk reviews and risk mitigation activities within assigned authorization levels and recommends credit lines in excess of authorization levels
    • Complete new and existing supplier counter-party financial risk reviews
    • Create and execute monthly AR cash forecasts
    • Manage customer invoice and deduction collection activities
    • Manage assigned orders and credit hold reports
    • Liaison between non-WS based AR credit teams to assist with governance of receivables.
    • Provide weekly/monthly operational and metrics reporting
    • GTS month end and ad hoc A/R reporting activities as required.
    • Manage audits
    • Provide weekly/monthly operational and metrics reporting

    Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of processes to support Shared Services Organization functions in a highly complex global environment.  Participate in the business process design and delivery of solutions that support the vision and strategy of the GTS and the company’s strategic business plans.  Analyzes business process trends, assesses the impact of emerging processes and technology enablers on current processes and proposes solutions that drive performance of GTS teams.  Manages line level resources and other third party relationships while ensuring the delivery of high-quality processes for internal and external customers.

    Qualifications

     

    Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

     

    Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

     

    Required experience:

    • 5+ years relevant experience
    • Staff management experience including both non-exempt and exempt level employees

    Preferred experience:

    • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing large, cross-functional teams and influencing management and key stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to implement one or more business project(s) on time and within budget
    • Demonstrated experience with Global Business Processes
    • Shared Services experience in a managerial role
    • Multi-lingual
