  • Overview

    Reporting to the Under Armour Director of Sales , the UA Sr. Manager of Bookstore/ Campus Sales will be responsible for the leadership , management , and development of the UA Collegiate & High School Bookstore/ Campus business , including institutional self-operated stores , privately owned / operated stores , and Barnes & Noble lease managed stores . In leading and directing a team , results driven sales culture , the incumbent will drive key business analysis and process used to shape sales structure , channel / customer strategy , business planning , and overall revenue / profitability improvement . The position requires the individual to establish , support , and foster strong , collaborative working partnerships with customers , sales representatives , internal support departments , and UA Corp .


    • Develop short and long-term sales and marketing plans to achieve the revenue and profitability objectives of the UA Bookstore/Campus business segment
    • Develop and drive a comprehensive, fluid analytical evaluation of Bookstore/Campus business by channel and customer classification
    • Key driver in the UA Bookstore/ Campus strategy development , planning , and execution relating to product , programs , sales tools , customer terms , sales rep structure/ compensation , and other key channel / customer needs .
    • Key business driver and owner of UA Sideline School sales strategy , planning , and execution
    • Responsible for key inputs required for weekly staff and monthly business review meetings
    • Manage the development and corresponding maintenance of accurate, timely sales and product forecasts
    • Facilitate, lead, and drive a disciplined, collaborative internal and external communication philosophy and expectation
    • Knowledge and understanding of channel and customer key retail POS metrics
    • Lead , Direct, mentor, and support Sales Management , Sales Analysts / Admin , and B&N teams in all aspects of their job/roles
    • Oversee the planning and execution of Sales Meetings, Trade Shows, and key Under Armour headquarter presentations
    • Foster a team oriented, performance/results driven Sales Management and Sales Representative culture


    Minimum Education and Experience Required:

    • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
    • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Sales with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial/decision making capacity.
    • Expert knowledge of apparel marketplace with collegiate and pro licensed apparel experience preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to work well under tight deadlines, work effectively in a matrix organization, excellent interpersonal/ people skills required to achieve desired results.
    • The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communications skills, a highly collaborative style, and impeccable business ethics.
